<T>I have created several different wall composite, with different line styles, weights and fill patterns. However, when I change "Model View Option Combinations" the fill patterns are discernible, but the line weight and styles are not.
Second, changing from hairline to true weight changes nothing on the display. Model View Options dialog gives no option for modifying Combinations between "True Weight" and "Hair Line".

Thoroughly frustrated!</T>

Are the lines all the same color & type? If so the settings of the composites are being overridden in the walls' settings.

I have seen no problem with true weights and the on screen display options. Keep in mind that this is scale and zoom dependent so that may be having some effect. You are right that the model view options has no setting for line weight display. That is now a screen display option only. Output pen weights are controlled by the pen settings of the individual drawings.

No this is not a scale dependency as individual line colors (weights) and styles are shown correctly. What I do not see is contour line style of a composite wall structure--all are solid line. (ie-I have a composite wall that has no fill and dashed contour lines, but only show in Plan View as solid lines.
So what I am missing here is that the individual wall settings must be applied so that the Cut Surface Settings are set to the Structure's Settings. So now comes the concept of the Floor Plan Cut Plane Settings, correct?
