Have a look at James Murray's writeup on MVOs. (In fact, go through the whole site when you get a chance. It was written for his office a while ago but the fundamentals are sound and mostly unchanged).

SO many things in AC are true W-O-W features, but you won't "get it" unless you see it in action. So - create 6 identical views of a plan - then change the model view options to each of the 6 default settings. After you see it in action the AHA! light will go off. The same goes for renovation filters.

PS Vistasp, I looked at your website - you have a gentle and most convivial style - lovely work. Side Note- I enjoyed reading your comments about water usage - my wife and I have been increasing our use of rain barrels and I have been convincing my clients of the importance of "owning" their site water.
