<T>Hi Archicader's,

I have a huge PLN file (I think so 400mb not compressed). It has 10 MOD files linked about 7Mb each one. There are 166 instances in total.
There os not attached references or images.
Sure i'm doing something wrong but i dont know.
I reach to reduce yo half size placing all in a new PLN, but it was a hard work, and i dont want repeat so i missed all layout, overwrite options and more.
Recently with worksheet creation, I suppose, the PLN FILE GROWN TO 400Mb again.
Is frustating dont know why and what im doing wrong or It's just like that is

Any suggestion is welcomed
Thanks in advanced,</T>

Thanks Lazslo, I follow all your comments and I think they are very successful.

Unfortunately I read that thread long ago and it did not help me.
I cleaned the attributes, I saw the number of polygons and it seems normal, and more things but nothing fixed the problem.
Surprisingly, I've inserted new instances, created new views and plans, inserted new objects, but the file chaff does not increase or decrease (447.177KB)

I have given it as impossible because I can not waste more time looking for a solution, so I have addressed the forum in case someone has had the same problem and has solved it, thanks

What about number of Layouts and number of Drawings placed on them?
What about Sections/Elevations and data generated for them? Or Details/Worksheets and data generated in them?
These could also be very substantial.

I recommend you save the file under a new name. Then experiment. For example, delete all Layouts and see how much that decreases the file size. Or delete all Sections and Elevations and see how much that decreases the file size.
And so on.
