v15 unstable?

I have just started using v15. I have not migrated to it yet just setting up and updating my template - all my jobs are still being done in V14 which is still installed. I am getting very nervous about 15 though as so far it is proving VERY unstable. Just now moving drawings around on my layout it has crashed 3 times in 5 minutes and it has crashed several times doing other very straightforward things in earlier testing too.

Anyone else having similar problems?

FWIW: I have used AC15 for months in beta and release candidate versions on some very large and complex projects with little or no crashing. I have only just started using the shipping version but am having no problems so far.

I don't know what could be causing your problem. I assume your system is adequate.

Yes my system is fine and V14 runs fine and stable. Very strange. The crashing has been while using my template (I haven't run anything else yet) without even any modelling elements included just notes and titleblock drawings etc.

Could this be graphics card related?

I can't see why it would be if everything else runs fine. Guess I am going to have to GS for support.

Okay, playing around with it some more it seems to be just my template that is the issue (the std AUS templates seem to work okay) and it is something to do with the layouts. Working with my std note and titleblock drawings on my layouts and master layouts (ie dragging them or copying them to a new layout) seems to cause catastrophic crashing. Again there is no issue with my template in V14. I can't think what would be doing it. Many of my title drawings have embedded jpeg logos (I work for various builders so have different titles set up for different clients)but I can't see why that would be a problem.

Sorted. Corrupted or faulty library part (a north point that was included in my titleblock)
