Maybe you use "Partial Structure Display - Core Only" and then put the dimensions?

<T>some of my dims are not showing up on the layout. I've used the eye dropper on visible dims to ensure that i have the exact same properties and then place the dim, but for some reason they are not all showing up on the layout. i've refreshed the views, checked layers, i don't know what else to check.</T>

nope. the original was created in AC 14. I've noticed that there doesn't seem to be a way of toggling between core only views. used to be a toggle in the on screen view pallet. maybe i'm mistaken. anyway, i still can't see the new dims. any other thoughts?

Are you using ArchiCAD 15 but it was originally drawn in ArchiCAD14?

We had this problem, rang our support team (who supply our company with ArchiCAD) and they said this was a regular problem. We ended up removing ArchiCAD 15 and re-using 14. Not used 15 since. Seems to be a few errors with that area of the software.

15 does seem to be a bit buggy to me. i have an email in to GS tech support, still waiting for an answer. i hope they fix these bugs quickly, i have other projects started in 15 so going back to 14 isn't a real option. in this case i'll try to markup in the layout and see if that works.
