    <description>Thank you! I should redefine the unit inside the view properties instead of redefining the project unit again and again.  &lt;BR /&gt;

      <title>Why the Linear Dimensions is locked?</title>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;I haven't noticed the the unit of Linear Dimensions is meter at the very beginning. When I tried to export the file, the unit of the Linear Dimensions seems to be locked as meter.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
I tried many times to change the unit to be millimeter in Project Map or in View Map.  It seems OK at that time. However when I open the layout in the Layout Book, the unit in the Layout Book is still meter. Meanwhile the unit in the Project Map and View Map will also become the meter again. &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
How this happens? &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
