topic dimensioning in AC 10 in Documentation

<T>this may simply be the nature of AC10, but it drive me nuts and i hope there is a setting that will fix it.

when placing dims i always have to click the setting to horiz or vert dim before placing the dim. this is most infuriating when i place a string and forgot to change the properties and click towards the direction i want and bam, dims are all messed up.

i know that in AC15, that i have a free trial for, the dims behave more like autocad. clk, clk, clk, and then a doube clk off to the side and perfect, it works.

-sorry i complain so much about AC, just trying to learn it better. -thanks again in advance,</T>

Yes it is the nature if AC10. Sometimes it's easier to use the parallel setting. This will align the dimension with your first two clicks. It is much better in 15.
