You have to use the View Map for this purpose:

A. In View Map make 2 folders (1. with Dims, 2. without Dims).
B. In Layer Settings make 2 Layer Combinations (1. with Dims, 2. without Dims).
C. Set your Model Map view with Dimensions ON, then Save that View into the View Map folder "1".
D. Set your Model Map view with Dimensions OFF, then Save that View into the View Map folder "2".
