attempting to scale an imported photograph for tracing using a known dimension on the photo.
My steps:
create a new independent worksheet
Project map / Worksheets / rt clk / independent worksheet

File / External Content / Place External Drawing

then to scale the photo:
I select the photo
then attempt the sequence which has worked so many times before:
Edit / reshape / resize /graphically / select pt/ select second pt / enter desired distance
but I'm presented with:
"enter resizing center point"
am I forgetting something?
could I have a setting selected that effects the operation?
has resize tool changed in Vers 18?

Just tried it here and it works.

• Select Photo
• Command+K shortcut
• Click first point
• Click second point
• Type Distance

Do you get "enter resizing center point" after selecting ok in pop up box?
I must be doing something wrong. probably something very simple as it used to work fine for me.
anyone have any ideas?[/img]

I was successful.
I have no idea what changed but when I closed ArchiCAD, reopened ArchiCAD, tried it again, this time the pet palette with distance and angle showed up so I could finish the re-scale.
I still wonder what happened.
