An old post - Was this issue resolved before?

I've just been shown this same behaviour by a colleague with two archicad teamwork files - Dims revert to auto position following a send and receive. The two files are the model file linked to the layout file. After adjusting the dim position of 3 dims, the user released all, and then hit send and receive (somewhat redundant step, but just reporting his actions)
He then flipped to the layout file, reserved A swathe of layouts in the Drawing manager and hit update. The drawing position did not update in the layout and when he flips back to the model file, the dims are in their automatic position.

This is in ArchiCAD 18, build 6000 UKI.

<T>This is very annoying javascript:emoticon(':x').
I am working in AC12 in a teamwork file, when I put in some level dimensions using the dimension tool, I adjust the text to be between the marker and the building (a company standard). However, when I sign out and sign back in, it reverts all the text to automatic position in every section and elevation that the text has been moved.
I have checked project preferences to make sure that the 'Revert all dimension to automatic' checkbox is NOT checked.
I have also made sure that the dimensions are NOT static, and found that whether they are static or not it still does it.
This happens EVERY time I or another teammate signs out thens signs back in. I'm thinking its a bug.

AC please help.</T>

This sounds like a bug to me. First download the latest AC12 hotfix and if it still does it, then you should report it as a bug to the appropriate guys.

We are having similar problems with Dimension Tool text reverting to original positions after Teamwork send and receive or after a sign in/out. We haven't noticed any problems in PLN files, only .plp and so far, mostly in detail drawings. Could be an issue in our sections too, but we are not doing much with them at the moment. But Details are driving us nuts.
