vertical dimension string on Elevations / Section?

Is there a way to automatically have a vertical dimension string on my Elevations / Section?
Any fast work-arounds? It seems I can’t use Automatic dimensions on sections elevations also)

Unfortunately dimensioned are not associated to these story level lines. If they were you could dimension to them in your template, before the model is built and they would adjust accordingly. This is what I used to do manually before the story level lines were introduced.
