dear dwight
i can follow your tutorial step as well but in the last step when i tried to copy
the wall to independent detail, i can not do that coz the copy tool is inactive.
would you explain more clear about this problem?

thanks

This is my first posting to archi TALK , i hope i can get solution for my problem. Now i'm drawing slanted wall. This is the panel wall that will install to the steel frame. So i have to send this drawing to builder with accurate dimension. My question is attach in this message.

Thanks</T>

Pandji:

Welcome.

Make a parallel projection of JUST THE WALL with Archicad's Internal 3D Engine - hidden line version [better line quality than OpenGL.]

Use the command "Look to Perpendicular" and click on the wall face in 3D.

This will adjust your custom axonometry to render the wall orthographically.

See the attached for the command location.

You will copy this into an independent detail window in order to dimension it.

Pandji:

You can copy from the 3D Window if you use the marquee tool with the "flat" marquee geometry method, then paste into the detail window.
