Select the dims and turn on 'Dimension only the core...' in the settings. The core is defined within the composite, as you may know.

<R>I have drawn a plain stud wall, no composite or skins. Now the firm says OK to use composite. But my dimension witness lines point to the skin face when i change to the composite. How can i get (all) the witness lines to move back to the structural core/stud face </R>

James wrote:
The core is defined within the composite, as you may know.

...also as you may know, in 10 and above, the core is also defined within complex profiles.
