Pls help with dimensioning

Hi!
I can't find an option or something like this to eliminate the "." (point) in measuring. Eg: (using metric units) the dimension of a wall -let's say 6035 cm - the measure displayed is 6.035, how can i eliminate the point between 6 and 0?

I presume you mean you want to work in mm (6035mm). Have you tried setting the units to mm in 'Options' then 'Project Preferences'?

Don't forget to adjust the other options (Dimensions and calculations units) as well.

Start - Control Panel - Regional and Language Options - Regional Options tab - Standards and formats - Customize - Numbers tab - Digit grouping symbol
(all this assuming that you are on Windows platform).
In ArchiCAD I can't remember any settings related to this issue (maybe someone else on this forum knows).

I've changed the Digit grouping and the problem is solved! Really thanks Adrian Tudoreanu! (mersi 😛 )
Anyway, hope someone knows how to do this in Archicad.

I thought you could adjust the dimensions to millimeters as I said originally, under project preferences? You may need to switch it to meters and then back again if it doesn't update correctly.

Hi Peter,

I don't think the problem here is the dimensions' units. Actually, ArchiCAD is displaying the values correctly, but it groups the digits according to Windows' settings (Regional settings). In this case, 6035 is simply displayed using "." separator between digit groups (6.035 - note that 035 are not decimals).
I was hoping for some settings in ArchiCAD that could change the way digits are grouped, without having to modify Windows' settings.
