Hopefully you do not have to do it with hundreds of dimension texts.
You can modify them at the same time, but selecting them one by one is excruciating.

Would be nice if we could select all Dimension Texts using Find & Select.

rotated dimension text is upside down

<R>Anyone know of any method to force vertical dimension text to read from the left? The AC default is to make it read from the right.

My reason is that I need to rotate my drawing (not the model) 45 degrees <S></S>counter<E></E>clockwise to make it fit on a sheet, but this turns the dimension text 45 degrees upside down. (See attached.)

One solution I know would be to rotate the model itself 1 degree clockwise, forcing vertical dimensions to not be perfectly vertical, and thus they'd read from the left. But that sounds like a really bad solution....

Thanks in advance for suggestions...</R>

Select the dimension's text. Change the angle field in the Info Box (subtract 180 degrees) ... Drag the text to the preferred position.

Yes... but after selecting all the dim texts you'd have to
<S></S>deselect<E></E> (or isolate somehow) the other half -- those that where already horizontal and you didn't want to rotate.

Better yet would be the ability to control their orientation from the Dimension Tool setting, and not the dim text window, to get'em right the first time.
