<T>Hello everyone. I am a new user and can not figure out how to change an exterior wall thickness and keep the outside wall dimension as drawn. I drew a schematic 8" thick wall with an exterior finish and want to change to a 2x4 wall with the same finish. I can not seem to maintain the exterior dimension when I try to change.

Any hints would be greatly appreciated.
It sounds as though the wall is drawn with the reference line on the inside face instead of thr outside face of the wall.

You will need to locate Edit -> Modily Walls -> Reference Line, and reverse the reference line of the wall. Once you do so, you will be able to change the wall thickess and have the external side stay the same.
