Breaking Dimensions

Is it possible to Break 1 Dimension into 2 different part???
"Explode" is not i want to do
Something like the "break" function on a wall

You can select the dimension line and then command/apple click on the node you wish to add.

Or if you are needing to get rid of a middle portion a dimension string, select the node at the center of the dimension that you wish to delete and then press the delete key.

If you want to delete the middle dimension as in example below (1400), select it's midpoint, then delete. Two outside dimensions will remain.
