I think you will find that using your View Sets to control layer combinations and scales will be a much more effective method for enlarged plans. You also don't have to worry about making sure that they match,</description>

      <description>You can define 2 different view sets with different scale and different layer compinations (layers on - off). One view set for the whole area and one for the addition only. This means of course that you have to place the existing elements and the addititon in  different layers.&lt;BR /&gt;
