3D view shows the edges of walls and meshes in a different postion

Hi everybody ❤️

I've been having some issues with my Archicad file and I can't seem to find the solution. The file I'm working on has the mesh imported from BIMTech, and that somehow makes it show a glitch of some sort in 3d view, which also affects the walls, I don't know how to explain it better but maybe the screenshots will show it better.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have modelled the project too far away from the Project Origin.

Hi Barry thank you for the quick response.

Do you mean this point? (as seen in the screenshot)

Even after moving everything close to the origin it still does show some kind of artifacts

I can't really tell from the images.

There is a User Origin that can be placed anywhere and a Project Origin that is fixed.

They look very similar, Project origin is blue and User Origin is black.

If you have the CO-ordinates Palette turn on, you can reset the User Origin back to the Project Origin.

If you have reset it and it is still looking wrong then there may still be something far away.

It could even be vertically above the model.

Or is that a very large or possibly very high site mesh?

Turn all layers on in 3D and 'zoom to extents'.

If it all looks close to the origin, then the only other thing I can think of is to make sure your video drivers are up to date.

And of course check you are using the latest build for your Archicad version.

Might that be the User Origin? Can be reset by double clicking on the User Origin toolbar button.

Thanks guys for the help. It seemed to be an issue with my template for some reason I couldn't reset the project origin. What I ended up doing was creating a new file from an updated template and now it's working like a charm.
