topic Skylight Dimension on slope roof in Documentation

Hi everyone,

I am trying to dimension some skylights on my roof plan, and the dimensions are not coming up correctly because the roof is on a 20 slope. It is giving me the projection dimension and not the actual distance (see the photo). Any suggestion regarding this one or should I just use the multi-line and replace it dimension manually?

I would state the size of the skylight (rough opening) with an attached note to its 2D image in the roof plan and place dimensions from the center of the skylight to other close roof elements ( roof edges, grid lines, adjacent walls trhu the roof, etc)

Or create a detail in a section view through the glass skylight to show the length of it on the incline. Use trigonometry to calculate the length on the incline just to make sure.
