Hello,

Usually i work on the plan that is not always with the north up, it can be sideways or down.

I wonder how is it possible to link or set the already created 3D views that will show the correct shadows for example the north is facing down this time.

If it is not possible to link to project north arrow, then what is the easiest way to set up the correct north for all 3D views i have already?

Thank you

Re: 3D View North Orientation

Open the view so you can see it in your 3D window.

Go to '3D Projection settings' and set the sun position to 'Date & Time'.

This will use the sun position based on your location the north orientation and the date & time you set.

Then you need to redefine the view with the current 3D settings.

Otherwise if you have a 'custom' sun position, you have to set it correctly yourself.

Barry.
