AC23 Documentation 02 Archicad Reference Guide PDF not installed?

The traditional '02 Archicad Reference Guide' pdf file does not show up in the Documentation folder of my AC 23 USA and INT installations. Google takes me to an online web browser Reference Guide, which I find much harder to get an overall sense of than the traditional PDF files.

Is the PDF Reference Guide gone for good?

I believe GS wants us to use the on-line help which can be kept up to date.
You should be given an option to download and install the off-line help manual.
Personally I think the PDF should still be installed by default.

You have to download the pdf version and save it to the ArchiCAD 23/documentation folder. Then it will appear in the Help menu in ArchiCAD.

• In ArchiCAD: Help/on-line resources/ ArchiCAD Reference Guide
• “Click here to access in pdf format”
• WAIT. It takes a while to load.
• “Save as” to ArchiCAD 23 / documentation folder

I agree that this was a step in the wrong direction. The pdf version should absolutely be part of the initial installation.
Call me old-school, but I liked it better back in the modem days when connecting to the Internet was something you did on purpose.
