Door & Window Schedule - Dimensions don't show correctly once put on layout book

I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience and found a way to fix it? I created door and window schedules and the dimensions show up correctly in the actual schedule but once dropped on a layout sheet they change to mostly all 1's & 2's, I tried adding various methods to show dimensions in the scheme settings for the schedules but they all display incorrectly once dropped on the layout book

I've gone through my project preference's for calculation units and such and they are all set up correctly and am at a loss for what is the cause.

Sounds to me like you are placing a schedule view from the View Map onto the layout page - which is what you should be doing.

Sorry the below information is the wrong information - dimension style affects the actual dimension strings (like you would see in annotation.

It is the calculation and/or length units that affect the display of values in a schedule.

But check the View Settings to see that it is using the correct dimension style.

Looks to me like you are using a metric (meters) dimension style.

Yes, I've dragged it from the view map to the layout book. All my settings are set to imperial measurements, see screen shot below (unless there is another settings option within the win/door schedules that I don't know of?)

Yes, you are correct it is the calculation or possibly the length units that show in the schedule.

Your settings seem fine for a not imperial user.

What happens if you select the drawing on the layout, right click and choose 'Open Source View'?

Does it show with the correct settings then.

What if you delete and replace the view on the layout?

Other than that, close the file (save it obviously first if you don't want to lose any work).

Now go to the FILE menu > Open > Open (again) and browse for the file, but turn on the option to 'Open & Repair'.

Just make a new View from the Project map and replace the problematic one. Example with video (here)
