Floor plan display : Wall and Slab

Dear All,

I was wondering if someone could help me to know more about the concepts of various terms under "Floor plan display " of wall inlcuding "projected", "overhead","cut only", "symbolic cut" .

Below is the image of several walls under/ passing through a slab. I tried different options but have no clue how it works.

It actually has nothing to do with the relation of the walls and the slab.

It is the relation between the wall (or other elements) and the Floor Plan Cutting Plane (the blue line in your images).

It is all explained here in the reference guide...
