Read up on how to save views in the View Map of the Navigator.

Excerpt from the reference guide:

Once you save the view, it will store the combination of the following settings:
• Layer Combinations
• Scale
• Partial Structure Display
• Pen Set
• Model View Options Combinations
• Floor Plan Cut Plane

Hope this helps.

Different dimension units within the same project

<T>Sorry if this is a question with an obvious answer...in brief, I am trying to publish a layout dimensioned in decimal inches in a project which is overall in feet and fractional inches.

In AC14, within a project where the working units are set as feet and fractional inches, I have a layout I would like to publish with dimensions in decimal inches.

If I temporarily change the project settings > dimensions to decimal inches, the dimensions appear correctly in the worksheet (what I am trying to dimension is a hotlinked module with dimensions set as fractional inches), but not in the layout.

I have tried to manipulate whatever settings I could find to change the dimension units locally (to the layout), without success.

Is this something which I am unable to achieve because of ignorance or poor research, or should I be able to do this?

Thanks for any advice.</T>

Make sure you save your desired dimension units as a Standard in the Project Preferences and assign it to the view map placed on the layout.

Here is a tutorial on how to setup view map
