Top view of roof window

Hello,
I have roof windows that show on the plan the whole structureof the window - that I don't want to see (Bild 2) (the interior part of the window construction) .
When I copy the roof into a new ArchiCad file, it is displayed the way I want it. So I think, that it is a setting of the visual representation in ArchiCAD.
Since it is a large project, it would be complicated to copy everything to the new file. If anyone knows how to solve the problem, I would be grateful.

I assume you're using a template file of some sort? Archicad template file or your own custom template file? Hopefully both files were started from the same template file. I would start by looking at the view settings from the drawing that you want to emulate and comparing it to the new view in the other file. Make sure all the View Settings are the same. If not then we need to look deeper into the problem.

thanks for the reply!
I checked the settings and they are identical except for the layer combination, but I don't think the problem lays there.
Do you have any other suggestions on what to check?

Chora, can you tell me what window (skylight) you are using? I'm trying to replicate but I'm not seeing any skylights with the same hardware you're showing. It'll be helpful if I can replicate it.

Is it the 'scale sensitivity' in the 2D representation settings in the object itself?

Otherwise I would say MVO settings as Ling has suggested.

I am comparing two files, and all MVO settings are the same. Also when I copy from one file to another it is showing not correct in the original and proper in the new file, so it can not be the 2d settings, which I also have checked and they are the same...

Chora, have you looked at the Model View Options? There are seveal settings to look at in the Model View Options...

In Archicad 28...

Look at the Construction Element Options for the Skylight...

Look at the Miscellanious Settings for Library Parts. Look at the Oject and Lamp level of detail, the Accessories in 3D, and the Window/Skylight Opening Line on Floor Plan...

Look at the Detail Level of Skylight Symbols...

In previous versions of Archicad Model View Options...

Look at Construction Element Options for the Skylight...

Look at Detail Level of Door, Window and Skylight Symbols... Change some of the Skylight Settings...

Look at Miscellanious Settings for Library Parts... Look at the Oject and Lamp level of detail, the Accessories in 3D, and the Window/Skylight Opening Line on Floor Plan...

Let me know if changing any of these settings helps you out.

Hi Chora,

Does the file came from an older version of Archicad ?

If yes, check the status for previous version in Project preferences.

the thing is that by exporting MVO to the second file it shows correctly there. Also I have checked all your suggestion, but I don't think the problem is in MVO. So it is still unsolved...
