28 Layout Book Locking Up / Freezing

I'm experiencing a long freeze up when I'm in my layout book. It's happening almost randomly.
I can say for sure that it's not the drawings updating, or re-building.
The file will completely lock up, I can't do anything until it eventually comes back. Then I can continue as usual until it happen again. When frozen ArchiCAD is still responding in my Task manager, so the program hasn't completely crashed. Also the layer menu and other tools will start to flicker a little.

Also, as soon as I get out of the layout book, everything is running fine.

Edit, Hotfix 3120 came out the day after I posted this, and one of the fixes was an issue with metal texture fill.
The layout that was locking up had metal texture fill. My lag was happening on the layout page, not on export. But I wonder if it was a related issue.

We fixed an issue where a metal texture fill caused lags and oversized PDF files during export. (DEF-20213)

Anyone else have this issue?
