topic Text moves relative to drawing when set to Scale view in Documentation

Trying to add room labels on both overall (1/8" = 1'-0") and enlarged plans (1/4" = 1'-0") and while setting the text to 'paper size' keeps it consistent size when printed, it is displaced roughly 2 feet diagonally between drawings. I.e. centered in a room on the overall plan but is very off center when viewing the enlarged plan. Creating real problems because it's illegible and overlapping other drawing elements depending on which drawing it's located properly on.

Autocad handles this pretty effectively with annotative settings. Is there something similar that I'm not aware of?

I know it's possible to use separate layers for each, but really don't want to duplicate the effort and coordinate multiple drawings every time a change is made.

The anchor point of the text should stay constant.

Try using the centre anchor point and the text will not seem to move.

You can still left/center/right justify the text.

Generally though, for different scales, you would be placing different text, more or less descriptive and sometimes completely different between plans of different scales.

So you should have annotation layers set for each scale that you can use.

Yes, it does mean you double up on the text, but you get exactly what you want, where you want it.
