Interior Elevation Markers - Clockwise Numbering

Hi there,

I would like to know if I can change the automatic behaviour of Archicad when I place an Interior Elevation marker.

By default, the views created by this action are automatically listed in order of East, North, South West (per screenshot below)

Question: Is there a way to automatically order the views as North, East, South, West? (imagining North is up the page)? The goal is so that when I drag these views onto an empty layout, the elevation marker numbering ends up being North = 1, East = 2, South = 3, West = 4

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to mention I'm using Archicad 27 on Windows 11

I think you will find it has nothing to do with north/south.

It is just alphabetical order, E, N, S, W.

The only way I can see to organise it is to use Elevation <Number> before the orientation for the ID.

if you would permit 2 other related questions (feel free to direct me to create separate post):

1. When generating views from the marker, is there any way to automatically manage the default View Settings (ID, General, 2D/3D Documents) according to a certain preference, rather than having to select preferred options every time?

2. When generating multiple views from an interior elevation marker, I note that the settings I select under 2D/3D Document do not actually get applied to the views created. E.g. I choose 'Fit in window' when savings, but when I then select each individual view nested under the parent-header, it turns out that Current Zoom is being applied instead.

I personally don't use the interior elevations.

They used to have issues and I have never looked at them as my template is set to use just regular elevations.

1. You can clone the Interior Elevation folder (group).

By cloning it you can set the defaults for what you want the interior elevations to have.

And remember you can have multiple views (or clones) with different settings if you need to show the same elevations but in a different way.

2. When I cloned the folders, I could set different zoom settings and they stayed as they were set.

But then adjusting them afterwards, seems to be very hit and miss.

Sometimes they change and sometimes they don't.

I found that having the elevation view open and then changing the settings, it seems to stick.

@Barry Kelly - when you use the regular elevation viewpoint tool (as opposed to the actual interior elevation viewpoint) for an interior elevation, are you able to set up the marker to have the appearance of being an interior elevation marker? E.g. 4-sided.

Maybe, with a bit of fiddling around.

You can have just a single marker in the middle of the section line and you can move the marker markers so they overlap and move the text outside of the marker.

But I have my own object that I use for the marker and then I hide the elevation lines in a layer that I turn off.
