My first guess: Maybe you have Design Options. The Walls in question belong to one of the Design Options, the "Fade Environment" checkbox is checked, and a blue color is defined for their display in the Design Options Palette.

Team,

I’m struggling to resolve a conflict in the appearance of a setting in my apartment tower model.

The issue is that one of the modules I’m displaying has three walls painted in a different blue tone compared to the other walls. There are no overwrites or renovation status differences between the walls.

In the original model, everything is correct, but the problem only occurs when I insert the module. In the elevation view, the walls appear to have a filter applied, making them look like they’re in the same blue tone as the plan.

I’ve tried various solutions, but I’m at a loss for why this is happening. If anyone has encountered a similar issue or can suggest a setting I should check, I’d greatly appreciate it.

I’ll keep trying to resolve the problem and post a solution when I find one. However, I’m running out of ideas.

Laszlo:

Thank you for your response. That sounds like the problem. It makes sense. So, I went to the DESIGN OPTION window and realized I had some options built without links. I deleted them just in case. I rebuilt the modules and updated them, but nothing changed.

OK, next idea: are those Walls part of an Issue?

That blue color looks very similar to the highlight color in the Issue Manager.

Activate "Document > Issue Manager". Maybe there is an issue there and those Walls are listed under the "Highlight" category.

If they are, you can remove them by clicking the "-" button next to their ID. Or, you can simply delete the Issue.

Laszlo,

Thank you for your intention to help. I deeply appreciate it. I’m starting to suspect I have some issues with my computer because there aren’t any other comments related to this issue in other posts that I could use to try to find a solution. I responded to this post, but I don’t see it in my own post. I also responded to comments about the formatting of my post, but the email was returned. All of this makes me think there’s something strange going on.
I’m still trying to figure out what’s wrong, or by redoing them from scratch, I won’t know what I did wrong. This only happens in the MODULES, not the original model.

Sefa,

Thank you for your interest in helping. I’ve noticed a few differences. After deleting all the ISSUES and DESIGN OPTIONS, I believe the problem persisted in the ISSUES. I’m familiar with how to clean this up, but now that I know it could be a corrupt issue, I can redo them without worrying about the consequences.

I’ll leave this ticket open for a couple of days to see if anyone can provide some tips on possible solutions before I change the status to SOLVE.

Team,
I’m delighted to inform you that I’ve identified the root cause of the reported error. This discovery alleviated my concerns, as I had initially feared that I had damaged hardware. However, I believe the issue may not be directly related to the ISSUE or DESIGN OPTION.
The problem lies in the CONNECT. It’s connected to trimmed the wall below the roof.
I’m not entirely certain about this, as the wall in the model appears to be made of glass while a filter is blue in the 3D models. Nevertheless, I’m pleased to report that the problem has been resolved.

Thank you all of you.
