After reviewing the Drawing Settings (select drawing then ctrl-T) and being sure all look correct, then with the drawing still selected, right click and select Show Source View (if I remember the menus correctly - I'm not running AC at the moment) ... and once there, review all View settings to make sure nothing says "Custom" or "Missing".

Placed drawing has a visual glitch on layout

This has happened to a couple files in our office now, and I'm at a loss as to why.

The floor plan in our view map looks correct, but when placed onto a layout there is a visual glitch. It looks like a 2x6 exterior wall from the storey above is partially showing. This wall is set to display on home storey only, so it shouldn't be visible at all. Also, it looks as if one of our graphic overrides is incorrectly being applied to that wall. The GO is to add a darker shade the background of any walls over 12' high however this wall is 9' high.

We're using complex profile walls, and if I switch it to a composite, I no longer have this issue. This is a workaround, not a solution, and I'd prefer to keep the walls as complex profiles for the cut view in section to show the top and bottom plates.

I'm trying to figure out if the problem is caused by the complex profile walls, or by the graphic override, or both? Has anyone else had this issue?

First screen shot is from main floor view map

Second screen shot is from drawing placed on layout with the glitch

Third screen shot is from the view map of the story above

I've already checked those, and both are correct with nothing custom or missing.
