Hi,

In the Navigator right clic on the master layout name you want to set as default, in the contextual menu choose "set as default".

EDIT: like very often when not finding how to do something you post a post and then immediately you find the answer. There was a check box set as default in the settings for the master layout...of course....:)

Hi,

Was testing dragging folders from view map to layout book and let Archicad automate the creation of layouts. However I don't understand how to set the default master layout? Or maybe it's not possible!?

Operating system used: Windows

Yeah, been there 😅 Post first, find answer right after. But yeah, you *can* set the default master layout—it's in the Layout Book settings. Right-click on the Layout Book, go to "Settings," and there's a checkbox for default master layout. Easy to miss, but it's there.
