How to draw at the "symbol of a slope" on a site plan?

Hi, how do I draw at the symbol of a slope on a site plan? See the example below, marked in red.

I know how do draw the mesh in 3d, but it will not show as a "slope symbol" in the site plan.

I’ve previously done this manually, but it takes an endless amount of time.

Is there an object/library tool or something similar that can make it easier?

Note that the drawing/picture is not my work, I found it from google - to give you an example.

Hi,

You can do a custom symbol line type to do that. And that line can follow splines.

And for meshes you can use the newly defined line for them as well (as seen above in yellow).

A custom line as CosminF suggests is a good start.

However, it will not vary from thin to thick - the perpendicular lines will be a constant length.

You would need to create an object that would allow for a difference in the length of the lines, also one that would be flexible for curves.

No easy feat to script.

I have custom lines with varying line lengths, but even then, sometimes it is just easy to do it the old manual way and just draw each line.

Hi,
Here are two objects I created that may help, and it might be possible to improve them.

The spacing between lines adapts according to the scale to keep the symbol legible for printed.

For my purposes, it's already better than a symbol line.

They're in French but can be easily translated.

Better GDL writers can surely offer better solutions.

Small clarification: the "Ligne talus droit" object uses the "Ligne talus courbe" object as a macro, so both objects must be loaded into the library to work.
