Keynote Layers & Wrap Text issues

Maybe I'm missing something, but why do GS keynotes default back to the favorite's layer every time I double click to select a new note. It defaults to the favourite layer and style even after I absorb a new label style and settings - is there a way to clear this so it doesn't pick up the favourite settings every time I need a new keynote? I don't want 20+ favorites for the layers associated to each type of plan / detail and I don't want it reverting my settings every time I select a new keynote - I just want the content to come across while my label settings including the current layer remain as-is until I reapply a new favourite style.

I have excluded everything in the element transfer settings and it still doesn't work properly.

This brings me to the second point; almost two years later and the wrap-text function still doesn't work correctly for keynotes in either AC28 or AC29. This must be my fifth time bringing it up on this forum.
