document > floor plan cut plane. but the fills of your slabs/roofs in plan view are only going to show the top surface fill.

I always use a combination of 3d doc (all model elements above the cut plane) and floor plan (walls and all elements below cut plan). Create a graphic override for the floor plan view to override plumbing, casework, furniture to show transparent fills, light gray pens, and dashed lines. I place ceiling fixtures in plan, not 3d doc, so they show with their plan symbol, as well as coordinate to 3d, int elev., etc.

I would like to know how to configure the cut plane/ view for a reflected ceiling plan. I know you can create a reflected ceiling plan via the "new 3D document from floor plan tool"but I don't want th edrawing to be 3D, I want it to be able to show surface fills on the floor slab for example so I need it to be a 2D RCP. How can I alter the cut plane in the ground floor plan to show the ceiling above?

Thanks

Operating system used: Windows

There are several methods to get RCP. Check out the e-book Reflected Ceiling Plans - Workflow Guide, it is available for free with your SSA customer code on the Graphisoft Learn website.
