I got some advice here... <LINK_TEXT text="http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/vie ... path#52596">http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=52596&highlight=drawing+path#52596</LINK_TEXT>

I was trying to show the imported drawing's path and name, as well as the layout book name. Something in this post may help you.

In the bottom of my Plot Maker master layouts I would like to place a field that would show the drawing/ file location (i.e C:/myfile/floorplan.xxx)

Can I do something like this?

Be gentle, I am new.

Yep.

Place a new Text Box (click the text tool, give it a starting point, etc). Once you have the box to start typing text. Right-click, and you will get a menu on which the item "AutoText" appears, with an arrow next to it.

This will show you a list of all the AutoText you can place, including Path and File Name.

Play around and see what other ones may be useful to you....
