Whether it's an ArchiCAD marker or something I accidentally imported, how do I track the thing down and remove it? Obviously something is referencing it, or the Library Manager wouldn't claim it's missing.

I suppose if I can't find it, I'll just make a NormalTile marker that doesn't do anything but keep the Library Manager from displaying an error.

ArchiCAD 10 is telling me that it can't find the "NormalTile" cut plane marker. I've never heard of this marker -- is it part of the ArchiCAD 10 library? How can I get rid of it so ArchiCAD stops complaining?

When does it tell you this?

It this something it wakes you up at 2:30 AM to tell you? Does it like to remind you of things like this while you're in line at the store? Or does it call you at dinner time just before you dig in?

Hmmm. Maybe I <S></S>am<E></E> personifying ArchiCAD a bit too much. But then, why is it always talking to me . . . and in <S></S>Hungarian<E></E>?

Jay wrote:
why is it always talking to me . . .

You're near the terminal phase...when you start talking in Hungarian to <S></S>it<E></E>...

I don't know the answer to your question but here are two clues. 'Cut plane Marker' is what the LLR palette calls section markers because it's too cool to call them by the same name as everyone else.

Me: I'm missing a section marker.

It: mi hív ?ket vág sík darabjelz?

Me: OK, it's really hot.

The other clue. Markers aren't in the regular AC lib, they're in the ArchiCADResourcesLib. In 10, on the Mac, this 'framework' is in ArchiCAD 10 / Support. (And AC won't run if it's removed, so I couldn't exactly reproduce the issue.) I don't know how it is on windows, but the point is that if low-level markers are missing, it's not a library problem, it's likely a problem with the installation. I would try a prefs trash and/or a reinstall.
