Hello all !

I released a GDL course on Udemy last January and I figured I might advertise it a bit 😅

2 years ago, I created a (very) small course on my youtube channel and this one is some kind of an expansion on it (with way better audio quality). The course is divided in 3 parts :

- First one is for complete beginners where we learn about the very basics (it's a more complete introduction than what I did on youtube though it uses the same coffee table as support object)

- Second part is a follow up of the first one where we go deeper in introducing fundamentals (LODs, custom ui, debugging...)

- Third one is about learning some GDL specifics (trigonometry, MEP, 2D representation...) by making 5 different objects

Here's a quick video about it that will show things better than I can tell :

For info, the course is a bit long (it's 25h+ of videos so probably expect 50+ hours to complete it) and it's mostly code alongs with quizzes. You can obviously fast forward and pass chapters or sections if you already know what's explained. At the end, there's a challenge where an expanding table has to be created from scratch and I think it's a really tough test.

Also, it is a paid course. I am aware there are many good free ressources on the subject (The GDL Cookbook, OpenGDL.org, Barking Dog's channel...) so I'll understand if some pass on it because of that. But if you're interested, use the following link which has a 20% coupon : https://www.udemy.com/course/make-parametric-objects-in-archicad-with-gdl/?couponCode=MFGRAPHISOFT20. Udemy only allows for coupons to last 1 month therefore the offer ends on may 8th but when this one expires, just let me know and I will create new ones.

Hopefully the course is so good that it becomes an official Graphisoft one ! 🤣 Just kidding, I just hope that it's good enough so people who were hesitating in learning GDL finally make the jump ✌️
