In the UK we must keep a thorough list of manufactures literature and screen shots from initial concept to final completion. For example, the Gypsum White Book gives wall types providing max height, acoustic, fire rating, durability, etc for a specific wall build up. Can we attach to composite wall types a screen shot from manufactures literature and PDFs? This would have the information all in one place. Not sure if there are any other tools to add PDFs or screenshots from manufactures web sites as record of workflow and materials used. Data can then be inputted into the model at a later design stage. The date of the screenshot, information from the screenshots and when added can be proof of suitable materials chosen through the design process. This information could then be included in the digital twin if in a published format or as a separate document as a PDF. This can then be passed to Building Control for approval and in use onto facility management.
