AC 19 issue

So today while I had ArchiCad 19 open, we had a sudden drop in power. The UPS was slow to respond resulting in my PC hanging for a sec before shutting down and restarting.
After the restart I tried to re-open Archicad and get presented with a
"Cache File Opening Error" at the start-up screen. It reads,
"Error while opening the file: C:\Users\Username\Graphisoft\TWData\TWDataOptions.xml"

I can click "OK" but it just pops up again until I force the program closed.

I have run a back up and re-install, but the same issue comes up again.

Any suggestions for a fix?

Hi all,

This issue on Archicad 24 was addressed here:
https://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=72608

From the description, it seems that the TWDataOptions.xml is corrupted. We have a Help Center article that can help troubleshoot the issue:
https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/knowledgebase/63080/

To sum up:
Close all running Archicad instances and delete the TWDataOptions.xml file. Location:
Windows: C:\Users\<username>\Graphisoft\TW Data\TWDataOptions.xml
macOS: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Graphisoft/TW Data/TWDataOptions.xml

Cheers,

Rubia
