ArchiCAD Connection for Revit 2015?

IFC Interoperability plug-in only works for Revit 2014 not Revit 2015.

Any suggestions or indication of 2015 version release?

The INT version of the Revit 2015 plug-in can now be downloaded from:

http://www.graphisoft.com/downloads/interoperability.html

ITA, JPN and GER versions are coming soon...

Can you put this file up on Dropbox or some similar place? Then we could forward it to Graphisoft so they can take a look at it.

We have been using the new ArchiCAD connection for Revit 2015 for a couple of days now and cannot get positive results. One engineer exports the file from Revit 2015 and the parts all come through in ArchiCAD 18 as objects and equipment (no MEP). Another engineer reports that Revit crashes when exporting using our addin.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, there are 3 ways an MEP object will come into ArchiCAD.
-MEP element
-equipment and
-object

-MEP elements will become of Revit MEP elements pipes/ducts that have the same corresponding element in the ArchiCAD MEP library.

-Revit MEP elements will come in as AC equipment (this is the most common) if they are complex objects that ArchiCAD can't pair up with a corresponding MEP lib element, but its ifc specification reflects that it is a distribution element!

-objects become of Revit MEP elements, if their REVIT specification doesn't reflect their function, for example if they were specified in REVIT as a "building element proxy" see screenshot.

Let me know if any questions remain.
Thanks

Regarding this Revit add-in issue, we would like to suggest to
-check if the latest version is installed (Update release 4)

-check if the last version of "IFC Exporter for Revit" is installed that can be downloaded from here:
https://apps.exchange.autodesk.com/RVT/en/Detail/Index?id=appstore.exchange.autodesk.com%3Aifc2015_w...
or
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ifcexporter/files/2015/

If the model is large, please be patient, it might appear "unresponsive" because Revit is processing the export. A simple IFC open-save can be tried as well to see if that works. The Revit add-in uses the native IFC open-save-with slight corrections added to it.
