Archicad 25 (and 26) | New Project > Latest Project Settings

...starts a new empty Project file, but without any Classifications and an empty Properties list.

I would expect that creating a new file based on the latest project settings would keep the classifications and element properties? I know I can start a new file based on my template and this brings the classifications and properties through, but I can't understand why this doesn't happen with a new project based on latest project settings?

I also checked here and it seems that this is present in a few more versions. Is this intentional?
