Hello List :

I've created a test database in AC13.
DB Name
General
Insulation
300 mm FG, qty 1 m2
Panel skins
18 mm OSB, qty 1 m2
10 mm OSB, qty 1 m2
Stringers
#1 joist, qty 1,6 m2
Units
m
m2
m3
pc

I've created a property : testPanel

DB Name Key Code Name Qty Unit Proportion
name 003 005 1,8 mm OSB 1 m2 Surface A
name 004 006 #1 joist 1,6 m2 Surface A
name 002 009 100 mm FG 1 m2 Surface A
name 003 008 1,0 mm OSB 1 m2 Surface A

and assigned the following to a slab :
However, the BOM for a 1 x 1 m test panel shows :
1 m2 for 1,8 OSB
but 2 m2 for 1,0 mm OSB.

If I set the quantity of 1,0 mm OSB to 0,5 it lists correctly as 1 m2

What am I missing here?

Hello :
I've just discovered the Surface flag of the 1,0 mm item was set to Surface C in the property item. Yet when I set up the DB I chose, or am certain I chose Surface A.
I changed the Surface in the property item and the error has disappeared.

This problem may have been self-inflicted. Yet the data set is so small one cannot help but wonder if there is some oddity in AC, not updating changes immediately for example.

So, question withdrawn.
