Cant merge/import skp file

Not that I have ever done this before (maybe 10 years ago), but when I try to import a skp file I downloaded from 3D Warehouse I get a pop-up saying "No objects were found in Sketchup file... AC needs 2016 file or earlier." I don't see a version# on the files or the site... I downloaded 3 golf carts and they are all the same. Is the common.. or me?

When you press the download button in the 3D Warehouse it should offer you 4 or 5 different versions.

Wow.. that was easy I am actually impressed that they keep so many different versions available. thank you
