Converting a file to dwg from ArchiCAD.

I have been trying to convert a project to a dwg file for my engineers for the past week and I keep getting an error messag - "cannot write output file". I have tried everything, please help. I am working on a Mac with version Panther and I currently have the last version of ArchiCAD - 8.1 loaded on my machine. What am I to do.

Have you tried saving to a different (older) version of AutoCAD (like R14 or 2000)?

Are you using a custom translator file?
