Double coordinates and how to get coordinates schedule?

Anonymous
Not applicable
Please take a look at pic.
Big numbers and cross - real project coordinates (from dwg file)
Small numbers and cross - coordinates given by object (gsm)

They are not from the same origin. Why?

Also You can see:
a coordinate palette - real parameters
a tracker (blue) - wrong parameters (similar as in object)

After that trick my schedules gives me wrong parameters. Why?

Could it be that one is showing coordinates from the Project Origin and the other is showing coordinates from the User Origin?
As another point, what I am seeing is that there is accuracy issues between the coordinates displayed in the object and the coordinates seen in the Coordinates Box/Tracker. This could be because it it so far from the Project Origin.

Maybe the variable that stores coordinates in ARCHICAD is a "float" type which is accurate only to 7 digits, I am not sure. The only thing I know is there were other issues in the past stemming from the model being very far from the Project Origin.

Hi.
Could also depend on how the object is scripted. There could even be some issues regarding the decimal separator ( , instead of . )

Hi RisingSun,
Thank you for the file, we have downloaded and tested it with ARCHICAD 20. It worked properly on our computers. The issue that might have caused the problems is the Far from Origin phenomenon. Please follow the instructions of this Help Center article to repair your project: http://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/troubleshooting/3d-modeling/far-from-origin/ (After repairing, please reopen the plan, because origins are counted during the opening.) best, k
