How can i change the Basic List for zones

I have a list and i want to cut out certain columns from the list. Is this possible?

The Basic Zone list is greyed and locked for me so I don't think you can edit that.
There are other lists that are locked. You can unlock them by clicking on the red lock next to their name.

Where do you go to find the red lock to unlock them. i can't seem to locate this.

The attached imageshows the icon to click on.
Sometimes, with some Work Environments the Set Up List Schems Dialog does not appear on the Calculate menu.
In that case you should switch to the most advanced Work Environment Profile (Expert 9 or something).
