IFC MEP model: "link vs open" geometry conversion ISSUE

Hello,

Since we discovered what we show here, we federate other disciplines into our AC model with the following workflow:

0. Revit MEP exports IFC using ARCHICAD Connection Addin.
1. Open IFC model directly from AC using Revit MEP translator.
2. Switch on the IFC Revit MEP imported layers.
3. Create a *.pln within this converted IFC model.
4. Open your ARCH Archicad model
5. Link as a module the previous *.pln
The result of geometry conversion is successful with this workflow while linking directly the IFC file as a module doesn't convert 100% of geometry.

Does anyone know why is happening that? The IFC linking option was a great feature in AC21, but it doesn't seem is working quite well as a real tool in a real openBIM workflow.

Thanks

Solved.

When you open an IFC directly, MEP library is loaded.
When you are linking the IFC into a project which hasn't loaded MEP library because is another discipline, some objects are not converted.

So, you need to load MEP Library and the issue is solved.
