PROBLEM WITH ZONE SCHEDULE

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hello
I am having 2 issues regarding zone schedule.
In the floor plan zone tool showing the area perfectly. (see fig -1)
But in the schedule those areas are showing zero. (see fig -2)
I checked the scheme I felt it is OK. (see fig -3)
I cannot figure out why it is getting wrong in the schedule.

2nd issue
I want to develop a floor area calculation for the developer. For that calculation
- I need to multiply the area with factors.
- I need to sum up the area of specific floor.

Do I need to go for excel sheet for these calculations or I can do it here in Archicad? This is the question

Avi,

Could you select one of the Zones that report zero area in the Schedule, go to its Settings Dialog, and show the values displayed in the "Area calculation" panel?

P.S.: Plesae do not post with ALL CAPS, it looks like you are shouting. I have converted your post to normal text casing.

Check your calculation settings in the option, project preferences menu,
all the settings here seems to be correct.

Yep, that is the culprit. Based on Low Ceiling Area reduction rules, all 100% of your area is reduced from the Measured Area, this is why your calculated area is zero.
Go to the Options > Project Preferences > Zone Dialog.
Change the values in the "Area reduction under low ceiling" area of the Dialog.
Can you post a screenshot of the current settings of this Dialog?
Also, are the 3D bodies of your Zones cut by some other element, maybe a Roof?
Can you select all your Zones and display only them in 3D, then post a screenshot of that, too? So I could see both the exact 3D geometry of those Zones and the Low Are Reduction rules affecting their Calculated Area calculation?
