Regarding Door Schedule

Hello! I have two questions:
1. Is it possible to change orientation title L/R to another language?
2. Is it possible to get a door view from the side without surface colors, just outline?
Thank you!

As far as I know, the only way to do this is to edit the door object.
But if you do this then you may want to 'Save As' the object with a new name, otherwise it will all be undone should you ever update the GS library.

For this you need to set up and use a Graphic Override in your schedule view.

Barry, thank you for your prompt response. Graphic Override works perfectly! However, Orientation Displaying does not change in the schedule.

Does anyone have an idea of how to translate door orientation title L/R to another language in the schedule?

As you can see from my images, Custom changes in Orientation Displaying of the door object do not work in the schedule.

I just tried in 22 and no, it doesn't seem to work.
I am sure I did it some time ago in a much earlier version.
Even swapping from default to reversed seems to make no difference - when surely it should otherwise why is it there.

I also just checked the Registry (Windows) for abbreviations.
I can see the ones for North (N), East (E), etc., but none for Left & Right.

So I have no more ideas sorry.

I just tried it in an older version (16) and it works fine there.

Workaround: create a property. Data type String.

Use expression:
IF ( {Property:Window\/Door/Orientation} = "L"; "your bit of text for left"; "same but for right" )
Make sure to assign it to 'all' (or doors and windows etc, but I'm lazy so I tend to pick 'all' for classifications).

You can then schedule this property instead.
